CASEL’S SEL Framework – CASEL

The Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL) is a nonprofit organization founded in 1994 that aims to promote the development of social and emotional learning (SEL) in children and young people. CASEL conducts research and provides resources, training, and support to educators, policymakers, and families to foster SEL skills such as self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making. CASEL works to integrate SEL into school curricula and policies, creating safe and supportive learning environments that enhance students’ academic success, personal growth, and overall well-being. The organization’s ultimate goal is to equip all students with the skills they need to succeed in school, work, and life.
